we got our sample and it looks great! a few little adjustments to this proof but basically it came in as it looks and we love it. but is it too plain and is it OK not to have an outside envelope?

(would be in cotton or linen = off white with slight texture)
I think its adorable! I dont think its plain at all and you dont need all the envelopes. We are just having the one envelope to hold everything. Its just going to go in the garbage.

They're gorgeous! We weren't going to use an inner envelope, but then we started addressing the outer ones and had so many people with kids and '& guests' It felt weird to put those on the outer envelope, so we used pieces of vellum paper to list each individual invited. We did it to keep the outside envelopes looking less cluttered and as a precaution to avoid confusion. It's really not necessary, though.
