I posted already on the May board but just wanted to share my invites. I was so nervous I'd get them and they'd be messed up or somehow not as nice as the sample. Not the case at all. I got them from Piccolo Press a Scottish company i found online after seeing a picture in a magazine. Holly Temple was the rep I worked with and she was so patient and great. We did everything online, and VIOLA! they turned out just fine. They are a little deeper in hue in person-the photos don't quite do them justice, but you can get the idea of how heavy they are. A very simple set of engraved invites, just four pieces (reception and chapel are next to each other at USMMA so no separate reception card and i sent directions with the STD.) Calligraphy will be in white or off-white on the outer envelope. Photos: set, back (engraved, plate sunk imprint) and the thickness.
Somehow though the victory of one task done is shortlived...so far to go!
I think I've told you before, but LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!

Re: Invites Are Here!
Beautiful! The Piccolo website has some really interesting stuff... did you know right away that you wanted that particular invite, or did you check out other samples as well? Thanks for showing them, its gotten me really curious, I've already sent for a sample package!

i knew i wanted that one after i saw it. it was my second choice but the first choice was just too much $$. i'm not one to look forever. i saw it, i loved it, and stopped looking.

What's the weight of the paper- it looks like the weight listed on their pricing page is 210lbs? Is the lettering in silver? Now I can't wait to get the samples!

the lettering is white, but i'm sure they can do silver. VERY heavy paper....really cool how thick it is.
