INVITES are OUT!

FH & I just got back from the post office..... our INVITES ARE OUT!! So excited!

2 Notes: The woman was SOOO MEAN! I wish she would have said 'Congratulations' or 'I'll take good care of them'. Instead she was a be-otch and treated them like they were a bunch of bills... Also, we sent them out w/o hand cancelling. I found out you either had to pay to do this or they didn't do it at all (which was the case at this PO). We don't have crystals, etc. on our invites so I figured they were fine.

i hate when a post office tries to charge people to hand cancel or say they wont do it. They do it bc they're lazy and its stupid bc many post offices will just hand you the stamp if they are busy and let you do it yourself on the side, guess that didnt cross her mind

But YAY congrats now you get to watch your rsvp cards coming in, so exciting. Im jealous

Hand cancelling is a PITA I guess for them. I even asked if we could do it ourselves and she looked at me like I had 3 heads and said 'I said we don't do that'. So, I opted not to stress & just trust they will be safe

Yours will go out soon!! Good luck w/ the ordering... I sent mine early b/c I've had them & they were just sitting on my dining room table and I was itching to just get them out Can't wait for the RSVP's!!

Mine have been burning a hole on my dresser for 2 weeks, ready to go....I am going to wait until Thursday though. FH and I are going out to dinner afterwards to celebrate!

Yay! Congrats on sending them out. When I went to the PO the lady told me that they would charge me to hand cancel them and that there was no point in her hand cancelling them because they still have to be sorted by a machine, and would be damaged when it was in the machine if it was bulky!

Hand cancelling, is when they stamp the stamp with the mailing date. Otherwise they normally get stamped by a machine that sorts the envelopes and where they will get sent.

with a C*NT!!!! seriously...for eparty they told me to go to the side to do it myself so its ridiculous and other girls said the same...but your invites will be just find, dont think you have anything to worry about. Just annoying how some people are so rude and have to ruin your experience ya know. But eh thats over with now

It will be fun, you get to put up a rsvp count
