Invites Are OUT!!!

Now it feels really 'REAL'!! I can't believe I am finally up to this stage with so many little things still to get done! But I am SO EXCITED!!! Thanks for letting me vent a little bit...no one else gets it! LOL!

It is such a great feeling - and it`s so exciting to come home and see the little response cards in your mailbox. My fiance got so into it too. Enjoy!

Lee, when is your wedding?

I'm asking because I think yours is the same time as mine? June 29th. I don't even have my invites. I'm stressing!

Don't stress...my wedding is May 5..you have plenty of time. I actually sent mine out a little early (I think) cause I have a lot of out of town people who need to make all kinds of plans. I have a friend getting married on your date and hers have not gone out either - 6- 8 weeks is plenty..enjoy your planning!

One of my bosses just handed me the response card this morning! How weird is that?? I'm freaking because it seems some people got them this weekend and others didn't...I mailed them last Thursday. Does that seem right?

Our guests started getting their invites 2 days after mailing. One of my bridesmaids still has not received hers, over 3 weeks later! I'm wondering who else might not have gotten theirs. We also know that Fi's brother sent his at the same time as his daughters and his grandmothers, yet we've received theirs, and not his. Moral of the story - you can't rely on the US Post Office - expect anything!

Strangely enough - I don't even HAVE a rehersal dinner booked yet (thanks to FI's mom)...so not even close to invites!! I just keep taking deep breaths LOL
