Invites came back because of wrong address!

I ordered a few extra invites, but not a lot. We are probably going to be using all of them. So this weekend I get TWO invitations back marked with a stamp saying no valid address. OF COURSE they are FH's family, one his aunt and uncle! I emailed future aunt and she said that was their address 3 years ago for a month in between houses!!!! HOW HOW HOW could you not know their address! So now I need two more envelopes, 2 more 60 cent stamps that I also bought the exact number of...I will be SO happy when this is done.

we sent out an invite to FH's cousin and then found out at a family party recently that they moved out of state...BUT we hven't gotten the invite back yet...maybe it will be forwarded...

Don't worry, it's almost over. I know it doesn't feel like it now but it will be much better soon. I can promise you. At least you have extra right? Good Luck

I had a couple come back. I just stuck them inside bubble envelopes and wrote the correct address on the bubble envelope. I didn't want these particular guests to think that they received their invites later than everyone else. So, that's why I used the original invite and put it inside the bubble one- so they could see for themselves

Just happened to me too. Knowing my FH, I knew to order 15 extras - he never double-checks things!!!

I re-enveloped them and bought two more stamps and sent them out today.

I did this also for a three of ILs people. I wasn't concerned with them getting the invite late...It was more about saving the 60 cents and the envelopes.
