Invites due back May 12 (When do I send out?)

Please let me know how many weeks you are supposed to give guests to reply? My wedding is June 16th and my reply's are due May 12th - when do I mail out? Thank you all for your help. I was going to send out April 5th???

I have a lot of people being invited from Ireland plus I have heard from other brides that you don't get them all back by the date you ask them (no matter how much time you give them) so it's better to give yourself more time - thanks for the info.
