Invites go out today......UPDATED WITH IMPORTANT INFO.

I'm so happy with the work Tessa did the invites are so beutiful. I wish I could see everyone's face when they open them.
Now it is time to stalk the mailman.

OK ladies here is the deal, I spoke to the supervisor from the Fresh Meadows post office and this is what I have to report back. Hand Canceling means nothing they go through a machine anyway nothing is done MANUALLY anymore, it's a huge machine and he said there is nothing to worry about. So basically I hand canceled my own invites for no reason, they have to go in the machine regardless to get separated.
OK THAT'S ENOUGH OF MY CRYING ABOUT IT, THEY ARE OUT GONE & DONE WITH.

Oh wow!!!! I cant believe the 09er weddings are soon to be here!! it seemed to go so quickly!!

Congrats on getting the invitations out.....I would stalk the mailman too for RSVP's. Thats so exciting

Hand cancelling is when they put that stamp on the stamp u put on the envelope. But usually they putit through a machine which creates that ugly bar code lookign thing at the bottom. When you have a thicker envelope (like me i have a brooch on my invite i had to cancel as well) you should hand cancel. But dont worry the people atteh post office do it for you! U just have to bring all of your invites to them.
