im trying to decide if i should DIY or if i should order them...i do want something really nice but im really trying to save money on any little thing so if i do them myself do you think it would be cheaper
Any pics or ideas my colors are pink and brown and i need about 100 thanks
Well I paid 0.60 cents for each poket fold at Mygatsby sale X 100 is $60.00 I paid $20.00 for 50 invitations at Michaels which came with envolopes, RSVP cards and RSVP envelop.-I bought 2 so that was $40.00 I paid 6 for a $1.00 for Tiffany blue cardstock for the other ribbons which was $22.00 I paid 0.30cents for rhinestone buckles X 100 is $30.00 I paid 3.00 for the ribbon So I paid for 100 invitations $155.00
If I find something I really like that I can DIY, I will, but I am budgeting $500 for the invites, max.

be careful about diying invited b/c you could very easily spend more money and too much effort into it than if you were to just buy invitations.... i plan on getting cheap ones online

i'm thinking of going through ann's bridal bargains they are very reasonable and there are a ton of styles... i think i'm going to get the seal and send ones... the only thing about that i don't know about is the direction card.... how would i stick that in unless i seal the sides as well

what is cool about them too is that you can order samples free.... they only let you order a few at a time but you can keep ordering if you like.... i think i got 7 orderes of invite samples so far..
And yes be very careful on DIY invites they can get way above budget very fast!

I'm in the same boat. I have to get to Michaels to see what kind of invite they have. When I went to the invitation place when my mom suggested the invites were like 150 for aout 100 of them (for the e-party). I have the invites in my Wedding Stuff album if you want to see them. I'm still debating which to do - DIY or just buy them.
