invites-how much?
How much is everyone spending on invites? I don't want to spend a fortune on something only a handful of people will save. I found one I like on etsy but not sure if it will end of being to much money.

I feel the same way! I do appreciate a great invitation but I don't see the need to spend thousands on them.I went to a few shops and all the invitations I liked were about $10 each not including address printing and enclosures.
I am most likely just ordering mine from Davids Bridal online. I found an invite that I didn't hate and they are very reasonble - 150 invitations, lined inner envelopes, addressed, with addressed response cards, and note cards is about $500-$550.

I am spending 350.00 for 75 invites, response cards, and insert card plus stamps from Wedding Paper Divas. My friend has his own printing company though so if he has what Im looking for then I might be able to get a better deal.

When I went to With All My Heart for a floral quote I also quoted out invited. They had quite a few that would have cost me btwn $350 and $500. Envelope printing was extra. I do not want to spend more than that bc honestly whenever I receive an invite I am in front of the garbage throwing out half the crap. For me, this is an area to save some loot!

I was quoted around 350-400 for 100 invites with rsvp, reception, lined envelopes, and return address printed. To have the guests names printed she charges 1.10 per invite.

I agree I didn't want to spend lots of money on something that will end up in most people garbage. I ordered 7x7' square birchcraft invitations off of media plus website and I got them in a week. For 125 invitations, lined envelopes, self sealing envelopes, with the return address printed on them, 125 response cards with the our address printed on them, and 125 thank you notes again with the return address preprinted. I paid a total of $296 for everything (including tax and shipping). I priced the exact same invitations on other websites and my local printing press and I saved from $150-$225..

Hey Jassy,I'm not sure who I'm using yet. I have contacted a few vendors; Rae of Arts, Invitations by Emily (esty), e*v*e*n*t*s*t*a*r, and a vendor who is overseas (cdiinvitations.com). So far I've gotten the best quotes from Invitations by Emily and cdiinvitations.com. I really enjoyed working with Rae of Arts when she made different mock-ups for me but if I can get the same thing for less I will have to go with another vendor.
