Soo I am working with a tight budget due to the our failing economy, I wanted pocket fold invites since I will have a boat load of additonal cards with my invites (accomodations, response, directions etc..) but I can't afford them and I don't think I will have the time or patience to make my own.
T e s s a suggested I do layering but I have no idea what this looks like ( I'm waiting to hear back from her)
Are there any alternatives? I don't want my guests to open my invites and have a whole bunch of cards fall out but I also can't break the bank on this since they will eventually be thrown out.
Any suggestions, pics would help, TIA!!!!
*i meant to add I need 100 invites and I wan to spend no more than $300, not sure how unrealistic that is.*

Re: Invites Issue
I know you said that you didn't want to do them yourself. But you may want to check out cardsandpockets.com. They have pocketfold kits that you can order for a sample. The work comes in putting them together. You can get them printed at Kinkos or Fedex.

Re: Invites Issue
Are you ok with very simple pocketfolds? A friend got Birchcraft pocketfolds online [vendor offered 40% off and they would probably be just under $300 for 100.

Re: Invites Issue
I'm doing a layered invite bc I couldn't afford the pocketfold either.
Basically it looks like a pocketfold, but the little pocket with the inserts isn't attached to the rest of the card. If you go to her Works in Progress and look under Kristen E. you can see mine, I'm still tweaking the design though.
