Yes, they are more modern.

I've never thought of myself as traditional but somehow when it comes to the wedding I really like the traditional stuff!!! So I'm sure I will end up with more traditional invites

Not lame at all. I think traditional is more like the white, thermography printed invites. Ones that are more modern have color or designs. That is what I think at least!

I say traditional with a modern twist. I am doing pocket fold invitation with traditional like cards which are all designed by me but it does have a sense of timelessness which i like but not fussy and stuffy so it has that modern approach.
