so now that i'm starting to look for invitations, I was wondering what kind of experiences you girls have had... When i look online I'm getting prices for about 150 invitations & response & reception cards about $500ish... So yesterday, FH and i went to an actual store and the lowest quote we got was $990 for that! What kind of prices have you ladies seen, if you don't mind sharing & who have you been getting from too! TIA

I haven't ventured out into the stores yet but what I have seen online is the same as you...450-500 ($3-$4 each). I am most likely going to use an online source but I may just go to the stores (michaels, hallmark etc...) to compare prices and quality.

I'm getting invites from the lady and i am quoted about $550 for 125 pocketfold invites.

i havent gotten a quote yet for my wedding invites from .... but she did my shower invites.. they came out to about 4$ each. but thats cuz i upgraded everything from her prinitng my guests names, metalic envelopes and some other stuff i dont remember

Before I started this whole process I thought invitations were like $1.00 each... boy, was I wrong!! I have seen invitations from $3 and up. The average price is $5-8. I am DIY them because I have really expensive taste and will be saving a ton of money.

I know its crazy those are what prices I was getting as well! I girl work with has a friend who does invitiations on the side and she has quote me with $300-350, Im meeting up with her next week to go over swatchs I saw her proflio and was it was! But they are still a lot!

I thought that too! And then I saw prices and I gasped lolol
I am DIYing as well, or else I will wind up attempting to spend 92392993 dollars on invites
