Im having this issue as well.
I am definitly inviting the one's that i hang out with out side of work with dates as well as the president of the company. My supervisor is not the greatest person to be around so im gearing towards not inviting him.

same situation here kind of - im inviting all of them (my coworkers) with dates - my boss and his wife for sure - but there are 2 other VPs im not sure of and the President i see the president on a daily basis but i doubt he's expecting an invitation - he probably forgot im getting married or thinks i already did - but i dont want to invite 3 VPs and not include him

I invited everyone, but now I'm way over on my count.

I work in a college and there are so many departments and I am friendly with almost everyone, but I just invited the people in my department and one from another (since I'm close with her ) They asked if they can bring a guest but at first I told them I wasn't sure since I had room issues, but I ended up being below my min. so I told them they can bring guests.

Just invite the people you really associate with, they will understand that you cant invite the entire company.

I am also sending an email for those I am friendly with that I didn't invite telling them where my church is so they can at least see the ceremony

I work at a college too.. Thats funny, which is why I am having the problem!

i dont want to come back from my honeymoon and be uncomfortable when my boss finds out who i invited as opposed to him. Even though he knows that no one can stand him. But i think ill just stick to the president and my friends here.

I wish i could invite more but im limited to one table of 12.

I work in a large institution so I had to be very selective. I ended up inviting 25 coworkers and their spouses/partners. I guess with the economy, no one can afford to come my wedding anyway. Could be an excuse, but only like 2 coworkers confirmed coming so far.
