I am not inviting any coworkers- not sure if they know that yet- FH & work at the same company...it would be too much if had to invite them all...

Re: Inviting Co workers
I'm inviting my 2 bosses and only co-worker, whom I am very friendly with. I am not close with the others in my office so I am not inviting them. FH on the other hand works at a large firm and is inviting alot of co-workers!!!!!

I know I'm inviting a few former coworkers from my old company. Not sure if I'm inviting anyone from here yet though. If I do, I'll ask them to be discrete, as I probably won't invite everyone.

are any teachers inviting their principals?
I'm a school counselor and I only invited my AP and another co-worker. Not the principal.

Ughh this is the same issue I'm having. I work with a very close-knit organization, and like everyone is involved in everyone else's lives. So I feel like if I don't invite certain people I will be offending them. I think it's going to be a game time decision when I send out my invites.

i am but I am only inviting 3 co workers. In my school people dont invite everyone so I kind of went with what everyone else did. How do they do it in your school?

Re: Inviting Co workers
I'm debating this a lot. I have friends at work I would like to invite but there's one girl in particular who was invited to another coworkers wedding, where she got drunk and made a spectacle of herself. And that girl has flat out said she expects an invitation, how do I invite 2 other people from work and not her.

I am inviting my principal because I have developed a very close relationship with him (he's very unique). I'm also inviting my assistant principal who used to be a teacher in my department. As for co-workers, I'm inviting my whole department (6 people total) and a few others in other departments.

I'm so torn. I have only been there for a year but plan to be there for a while. What's the etiquette here? Do we need to invite our boss? (I actually really like her, but then I feel like I need to invite the rest of my department so was going to just not invite any). We were trying to keep it small. Plus I'm not sure how I feel about them seeing me drinking and dancing my butt off on the dance floor. lol. But part of me feels like I should. Thoughts?
I feel the exact same way except I have only been at my job a month so far.
