Mine doesn't live in US and came in this week. She hasn't been involved too much with planning (mostly b/c overseas issue) beside guest list and such and I don't want her to feel left out- I'm trying to think of things she can do, b/c she is always asking if I need help.
Anyway, do you think I should ask her if she wants to come along to 2nd fitting (w/ my sister and MOH)?
BTW-we have a very good relationship.

FH is one of two boys so FMIL isn't going to get to do most of the wedding stuff. I have invited her to do almost everything (including selecting a dress) and she has come along and has been very helpful. I know she enjoys it and I enjoy the extra help

same here, FH is her youngest son and older brother is married (justice of peace) so this is the only chance to be involved w/ a wedding . I think I will invite her!! Thanks!

I think it is a great idea! Especially considering she only has sons and she has not been involved in much planning.
I may (or may not) include my FMIL in such activities. She does have a daughter who was married 4 yrs ago (and FMIL compared everything from FH's brother's wedding to FH's sister's wedding), but a big reason I want to include her is my mom lives out of state (Illionis) and due to her work schedule (and $) not sure how often she'll be able to come here.

Yes. Include her I included my MIL in everything with the planning. It was always me, my mom, and her everywhere we went and decisions that had to be made. With her having 2 sons, I wanted to include her as much as possible.
