INVITING GUESTS....

Do you know or have met all the guests your FH is inviting and does he know or met all the guests that you are inviting?

Yes, I know everyone who is coming to the wedding on FH's side and same with him. We have been together for 8 years so we know everyones family and friends.

I know everyone that FH is inviting, but I don't know (and he also doesn't know) everyone that his parents are inviting. We're having a big wedding (200 maybe more) so there's a lot of extended family or parents friends that neither of us really know. There are some people my parents are inviting that I don't really know either.

We k now the majority of people coming on each others sides but there will be a couple of people from his side and mines that we will be meeting for the first time that day.

He has a lot of OOT family that I've never met. There may be some work associates of mine that he may or may not have met, not quite sure...

I didn't know some of DH's friends and he had never met my aunts and uncle. Everything worked out fine though!!

I am inviting some people from work that FH does not know very well. FH will be inviting some friends from out of town that I've never met, but I'm sure it will be fine.

i knew a majority of the guests. I knew all his family which were like 80-90 of them lol, his friends, I knew most of his co-workers but i think just a few i met at the wedding.

he didnt know everybody from my side, most but for example had a family friend and his wife who have been overseas for a while and came the week of the wedding. Or my dad invited close friends that dh just hadnt met yet, he met alot of them but a few he hadn't.

so yeah a few ppl here and there we both met, like dh hadnt met my mom's boss for example, or childhood friends of mine that were close to the family that i hadnt seen in a while but had seen their parents and dh met the parents before. We had 275 guests so a few here and there wasn't bad

I would say we know about 60% of each others list. We both went to colleges either far or out of state so we havent met all the people from there yet.

There's a few of FH family/friends that live in other states that I haven't me yet. I am inviting a couple of co-workers that he hasn't met.

Nope...we're both inviting people that the other doesnt know (very few of course- I know most of his friends and family and vice versa) but I trust his judgement.

I'm with you on that one! My dad has a few 'college buddies' that he's inviting - some he hasn't seen sincw 1987 - it makes me SOOOO annoyed, but he's hosting the wedding, so I can't complain. I just don't wanna hug and kiss these people I don't know on the receiving line! BLECH! (I have a germ-phobia) LOL

Sigh. . .this has been a point of contention for FH and I with FMIL. She is inviting friends that we DON'T know and neither of us have met. He had to put his foot down about it.

We pretty much know each other's friends/family...there are a few on his side that we know, but don't see/speak to.

It's okay though..it will be nice for his family that do know these people to share in our special day.

No, he knows all my family b/c they all live in one city, but not my parents' friends. There are some of his family members I haven't met b/c they live in Ohio.
