Since most of you are...is that what's expected? I don't mind inviting our pastor, I just think that we'll feel more relaxed if we have just family there. Thoughts?

We're inviting our priest & his wife to the RD, but my FH has known them all his life (he was baptized by this priest!).
I might be wrong, but I've always heard that 'traditionally' the priest is invited & that some people even ask him/her to say a blessing. I've been to an RD or two where the priest wasn't there, but I honestly don't know if he was invited or not.
