Inviting People

Hi, Im planning on inviting my whole company to the wedding. Most of them are married, but there are a couple of people who are single and do not have a boyfriend or girlfriend. Would I invite them with Guest? Thanks.

Inviting People

That depends. If they're going to know people there and you know they're cool with going alone, then invite w/o guest. Also, think what your budget will allow. We invited all single friends w/ guest and only one came with a guest.

Same with us

We invited all single people with a guest and I think only one came with a guest as well.

Same with us

I had a system: Divorcees were invited with a guest singles with a guest and widowers no guest

Our singles were given the 'guest' option...

They may be single now, but who knows what could happen in the weeks before the response cards are due back. I know some of my single friends are purposely holding back just in case they do find someone. Also, some people may be casually seeing someone, but just haven`t yet gone public with the news. It can be a tough call, especially if you`re on a strict budget, but if you can offer the option, I think most people appreciate it and feel more comfortable having it.

Just be consistent

The overall headcount can increase so fast with singles invited with a guest, but if you can afford it, I think it would be nice. Just be sure to be consistent, and if you`re going to invite some singles with guests, make sure others aren`t excluded from the option.
