Inviting stepchildren
How do I invite FH's sister's stepson to the wedding?
His mother has physical custody in another state and I want to be sure they know he is part of the family too.

I would probably write on the outer envelope 'the XXX Family' and in the inner envelope I would write everyones name including the step kid.

In addition to addressing the envelope, give your FSIL a call.

I agree. Put his name on the inner envelope and then call your FSIL so she knows that that he is invited as well.
