How come I can't get my playlists to shuffle the songs? I have a gym playlist, but when I start it it's always in the same order. I tried moving it around on iTunes, but either I'm not doing it right or it can't be done. Someone help!
Mine doesn't either and I wish it did. I started my 'running mix' yesterday mid-playlist cause I'm sick of hearing the same songs already.

on your ipod there is a :Shuffle Song: tab on the main page/menu
just press that

I know and I have several songs by the same artist and it's one after the other. I want it mixed up!

The only thing I can think of is to change the order we have them saved in the playlist, on the computer. Then it will sync to our ipods that way.....? That can be done, right?
This is my very first ipod so I'm still learning...
Did you try to shuffle albums? I know when I listen to all albums by an artist, and code it for shuffle albums, that works. Maybe if you go to setting - shuffle - albums, then play your playlist, it'll shuffle that way. Otherwise, I'm not sure if it can be done. I don't have any playlists on my ipod to check it out right now.

I think if you go into your play list and start up the first song, go back to the main menu where shuffle is you can hit it and it should shuffle the songs in your play list. Tell me if that works.

yes it can, from the setting menu, not the general shuffle option. i hope it works. i tried to test it out on the premade playlists, and i can't tell if it does or not![]()
