IPOD or CD for Ceremony?

We ran into a problem with our dj. They want to charge an additional $300 to play music for the ceremony. I personally think that is a bit much to play a total of three songs which would only be about 3 minutes total. We only need a song to play for the bridal party, a song for me and an exit song. We're getting married at the RH and the aisle is not that long so a whole song wouldn't even play to the end. The RH said I could do a cd or a ipod hook up but I would have to have someone there to press play and stop. The dj agreed to do that for us no charge(it's FH friend). What do you ladies think?
Also just want to add that although the actual dj is a friend of FH, we had to go through the company to contract him so he could get the equipment.Everything is documented and if we used them for the ceremony then there are certain speakers and wiring they use. So it's not like he can just swipe the speakers and do it for us or else he would have. Not to mention he works with an assistant who doesn't know too well so he didn't want to take a chance and have a snitch on his hands.lol I wouldn't want him to jepordize his job anyway.
Just want to get your opinions.
TIA

Bring the CD, just in case the Ipod doesn't work.
