FH is thinking about doing ipod shuffles as groomsman gifts. We dont know for sure if people have them already (we do know one of the best men does, since we bought it for him in january ) but even if you have an ipod, the shuffle is good for working out and they are so tiny now!
not sure if we'd get the smaller ones or the bigger size... and if you order from apple you get free engraving (not sure if we should engrave anything on it, their initials, some kind of thank you)
we'd need to find something different for the best man who has one.
what do you girls think about this idea?

i think its a great idea if they don't have them already , if they do they can always use it for the gym or to travel ect

we thought about doing that but realized that almost all of our GM already had them ...
if you do decide, you can pre-load them with some of your wedding songs

I think it's a great idea! Just make sure that they don't have them! It's different!! And I think they would really like them!!!

Personally, since I already have an iPod I would have no use for one. I know they are small enough to work out with, but it's easy enough to just work out with a regular ipod clipped to your waistband or with the armband. FH had gotten one at work for Xmas and since he has a regular iPod he actually sold it on ebay. JMHO.

hmm, i guess they could always return them if they didnt want it? FH has both the 80gb and a shuffle, and he uses both but his real ipod is pretty big. his bro (our other best man) has a reg ipod too but really wants a shuffle which is what gave FH the idea.
i'll see if FH knows their ipod status lol

fh wanted to do something that the people can use on the wedding day and afterwards. If BM has, will you get him something different? We got them pocketwatches. For my nephew, who is the jr usher and loves to ski, we got him ski cufflinks. The dads got what the ushers are getting.

I got them for my BMs and filled them with music that meant something to each of them. It was a big hit.

I think its a great gift but I wouldn't engrave them just in case some of the guys already have one or a regular ipod.

I was thinking this too but FH said the same thing...about who has them already...but I say do it...I like your reasoning that they can use them to work out with!
