Irish Dinner

Irish Dinner

Can anyone reccomend a Irish Restaurant/Pub in Queens that has good Corned Beef and Cabbage? FI and I decided to be festive this year and go out on St. Patty's day but I don't know where to go. I was thinking Cranberries in Maspeth, but as I passed there today, they looked closed.

Thanks!

YES!!!! Cronin & Phelan's - best one in Astoria. Dave, the bartender, is awesome (my brother spent a LOT of time there). It gets sort of crowded on St. Patrick's day but is worth it. Their corned beef sandwiches are awesome. My brothers and I always end up our St. Patrick's day night there.

In that area, Bridie's on Woodhaven is good, I think we went there with my mom about 2 or 3 years ago (she doesn't come out for the good festivities ).

Coopers is gone? Oh my! Yeah, I had intended to go to kate Cassidys and found that is is now Woodhaven House and they claim to be an Irish Pub but they have not one Irish dish on the menu.

These are all great suggestions. Thanks everyone.
