fi & i want to have a very casual rehersal dinner. we'd love to do it at an irish pub or irish-like pub. any suggestions for the plainview area?

I think the place in Syosset is called 'O'Neill's'. It's on Jackson Avenue. They do catering.
OH! A great place that's not as much an Irish pub as a sports bar... 'The Main Event' on Old Country Road off the SOB in Plainview. (that's where my FH and I met... the first time. long story. lol)

Also, it's not Irish, but there's Christiano's and Cafe Testarosa, both in Syosset. Both are relatively casual with 'bar' atmospheres.

We had a friends Bridal Shower at Paddy's Loft and they did a nice job. They also have very good pricing.
