Is anyone else finding that they're kind of losing it lately? I've had some of the most irrational feelings and ideas lately, it's crazy. Two examples: 1) I decided that, no matter what, I have to get an iPhone. In addition to the expense of the wedding, I was going to buy an iPhone, pay an higher priced plan than I have now +$175 to cancel my current contract. 2) Was just looking at another bride's Angelica Glass photos and thought, I should hire HER TOO for my wedding!! I already have a wonderful photog. who brings a second photographer with him. AND, AG was the first photographer I looked at---she's NOT AVAILABLE the day of my wedding.
I just need to stop already!!! And I wonder why I'm not getting things checked off my to do list!
Anyone else having ridiculous ideas?

Re: irrational thoughts? (a little long)
i don't have irrational thoughts per se.. but I do have irrational spending issues lately. I keep using my credit card to buy things, not super important things. It is getting a little out of control, I keep telling myslef what is another $20-$50 added to the debt? I also went to my reception hall last night and saw the chocolate fountain was was thinking about adding to it at our recpetion, and I basically justified it as if we are paying like $15,000 for the reception what is another $700!! I think I'm somewhat losing it too!! I gotta get myself back under control!!

you girls are soooo funny!!!! Before you purchase something, ask yourself if it is a NEED or a WANT....SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! As for the iphone purchase....my brother says the battery life on it is horrible and if you wanted a new battery you would have to send your phone away to get it....SOOOOO not worth the extra money right about now

Re: irrational thoughts? (a little long)
I totally understand....FMIL is kind enough to throw the rehersal dinner...but obviously no clue who to invite or what is appropriate...plus I had my heart set on one place, and she was like, oo...that's a little expensive (it was 4$ more pp than the other places we talked about- that's like, under 200$ difference)...anyway, we went out to the craft store bc I needed paint pens for a DIY project and I couldn't decide between the regular and the caligraphy pen- so I just said I'd buy them both...when we got to the register, she insisted on paying for them- they were about 20$...and I couldn't stop thinking I'D RATHER YOU SAVE YOUR FREAKING 20$ AND PUT IT TOWARDS THE REHERSAL DINNER!!!! Ahhh...but I didn't say it....trying sooo hard not to be a bridezilla....

Hahaha!! I know exactly what you mean, I started buying tons of clothes right before the wedding, I had to stop myself and I returned most of them. I was like, what am I doing?!

Re: irrational thoughts? (a little long)
Before my wedding I posted something just like this--not about irrational thinking, but spending. I went CRAZY spending before my wedding on clothes, makeup, hair appointments etc. I also lamented about NOT having AG photograph my wedding. It is perfectly common to do do these things (notice how I didn't say normal? ) It'll wear away once the wedding comes.

Re: irrational thoughts? (a little long)
Let's see I almost got a tattoo at my bach party, not spur of the moment, completely planned. Talked to FH at the last second and he said 'NO!' I keep having these crazy thoughts too, I think it may be our version of cold feet!!!
