Well, we did the seating arrangements last night and everything works out pretty well, except FMIL's brothers & sisters all at one table make 12. The hall said 8-12 at a table but I feel like they'll be crowded with that many at one table. What do you think? Was going to see if I can break down her table & the brother/sister table into three tables of 8 instead, but that would mean taking her one sister & husband away from her table. Hopefully, it won't be an issue.
Also, I'm going to call hall today but do you think they would have smaller tables available? Because my Mom's table only comes out to 6 people and the kid's table will only be 6 also.
Thanks

Hmmmm... maybe when you go to your hall ask to see a table set for 12 people so that you can determine yourself if you will be able to do that?

I sat at a table of 12 once - and I hated it. But this was at the swan club and I am not sure if the table you are getting is larger. I really got annoyed because no only was a squished at teh table there were too many tables on top of each other and you couldn't move.
Just verify you can fit with out having a elbow in their face.

I think it should be fine, we had tables of 12 at our wedding and they were plenty big enough.

I think you'll be fine- we did either 10 or 12 at a table- we had round tables. What shape table are you having- oval or round?

I would definitely check with your hall. The Crescent had tables that fit 14 so we tried to fill our tables up so that we would have less tables filling the room.
