i guess it depends on your friends financial situation. i know my friends wouldnt be able to afford that much on dinner (im not even paying that much per plate for the wedding) so i wouldnt ask them to.

Re: Is $100 per person...
If it includes drinks I think it's a pretty fair price for a ladies night out

Re: Is $100 per person...
i guess it depends on what it includes, but $100 just for dinner, when you are going to be doing other things that evening, is a little much.

Re: Is $100 per person...
See I'm undecided on this. I found out my Bach Party is going to cost everyone about $200 p/p. The dinner is $90.00 and the limo is $1600 for 13 passenger for 12 hours. I think this is a little exorbitant especially with some of my GF's just buying houses etc.. But I don't think I was supposed to find out about the cost....

I agree with PP...if you're also doing a limo and something after that will DEF add up. I don't know...tough call

Re: Is $100 per person...
I'd be uncomfortable asking the BMs to pay that regardless of their financial situations. In general, I dislike the 'But they can afford it!' train of thought for gifts, parties, or contributions of any sort, wedding related or not.

Re: Is $100 per person...
What else do u want to do besides dinner? Think about those plans, bc if u are doing something more low key - then the money can be spent on dinner

Re: Is $100 per person...
I posted before about Bachelorette party and I think that consensus is everyone is different. If your girls can afford it and would enjoy dinner then great! I went to a bachelorette party where we had dinner at the borgata and with tax and tip it was $120 pp....and we all payed. My friend is going to a party in the city and it's going to be the same. My night for my girls is costing $300 with limo, dinner, drinks and bars included and some think that's a lot...but if the girls are willing to do it then do what you want hope that helps!

Re: Is $100 per person...
Let me know if you need suggestions. KOBE club is good but for the amount of $$$ people are spending, you can go to Le Cirque etc.
I can give you suggestions of fun restaurants, with atmosphere and can get you a price fix.
Stanton Social is great I threw my friend's party at ESSEX on the Lower East Side (it was about 80 bucks per person with OPEN BAR for 3 hours)
I have lots of other suggestions.

Re: Is $100 per person...
I guess it depends....I've paid that much for a bachelorette party dinner, but my friends and I might be in more of a position to do that. I dont think mine was that much though.
