Let me know if you need suggestions. KOBE club is good but for the amount of $$$ people are spending, you can go to Le Cirque etc.

I can give you suggestions of fun restaurants, with atmosphere and can get you a price fix.

Stanton Social is great
I threw my friend's party at ESSEX on the Lower East Side (it was about 80 bucks per person with OPEN BAR for 3 hours)

I have lots of other suggestions.

It really depends on what the plans are... if its only dinner and nothing else, then I would say its not too bad, but if there are other activities planned afterwards, it might seem a little too much.
