Is 5-6 months before the wedding enough time to get bridesmaid dresses?
I am pretty sure 5-6 months is enough time before the wedding to find/oder the bridesmaid dresses. What is the usual time frame that the bridesmaid dresses take to order and get in? I know each company is different... but a ballpark idea would be helpful!

I was told 4-8 weeks!! So you should be ok. But keep in mind alterations may need to be made, so get on it as soon as u can so youre not stressed at the end! Good luck!!

we ordered our BM dresses in the beginning of November (6 months before) and they just came in last week. I think you should be fine. BM dresses come in a lot quicker than wedding gowns.

That is the perfect timeline... my wedding is in June, and they told me at Bridal reflections i have until the 26th of this month to order... exactly 5 months to the day.

Yes. Ive gotten dresses in 3 months. Also, as a rule I always tell the bridal shop that the wedding is actually earlier just to make sure they get the dress in in time!!

That is as long as I would wait. I did Bill Levkoff and they told me 6 months.
When my sister got married we looked at the 4 months mark and we were too late for the Bill Levkoff gowns we loved so I had my girls order back in November to be sure.

David's Bridal has a turn-around time of 2 weeks!!

I think you should be fine, just think about alterations. You should be good to go though.

I had to order my BM dresses by Dec. 21st for my May 21st wedding. I just went in to order my FG dress and was charged a rush delivery fee!

we ordered my girls dresses Bill Levkoff in Sept that was at the 6 month mark. HTH

I was told about 12 weeks. My girls are ordering their dresses 1/29 which is a little over six months.

you have enough time. my wedding was may 29th and i ordered the BM dresses mid January
