I didn't think so, but when I showed one of my bm's what I had in mind, she was like $50??? That's so much. I didn't think it was especially considering their dresses were under $150.
Am I insane to think this?

Well I don't think so - my BM's were happy to find shoes for 50$ - they thought that was a good deal - BUT then again they plan on wearing the dress and shoes again so that might have helped

I've def. seen shoes for less. - But it all depends on your BM gowns of couse - if they're anything but black, you probably can't just pick a shoe off of the rack - If you think it's going to upset your friends, try to look around for a better price. - I''m biased b/c i'm a SHOE fanatic so i'll spend anything !! =)

I don't think $50 for shoes it too much at all.
But then again, planning this wedding has skewed my view of what's expensive or not!
But honestly, $50 is reasonable, IMO.

reasonable price and if you get to wear it again...it's great i've seen and heard BM shoes only get used for the wedding

I don't think it's too much at all. But if your BM think so, would you consider letting them wear whatever shoes they want? I'm not planning on picking out their shoes, but I'll probably pick 1 store with the largest selection and have them all dies together so the color won't be off.

Ask her to find something similar for less money and see if you like them.
$50 isn't that much, but with other wedding expenses she may be feeling overwhelmed.
