hahah, the pope is going to be in the BX on my wedding day (my parents live there/where i'm from). My dad called his sister in NV and told her the pope is saying our wedding mass. I bet he'd charge way more than $850.

I haven;t booked anyone yet but the quotes I've been getting are between $45o & $600 so $800 + is a bit much

yes that is way too much...I would highly suggest calling Rev. Deb..she was amazing! If I remember correctly, her fee is $300...good luck!

Definitey call Pastor April - she's a vendor on here. She personalizes every part of the ceremony for you and is reallly really reasonable.

Try Pastor Mike. We are using him, booked him on the spot, and he is definately less than what you were quoted! Good luck!

we are paying about that much for the church and all of the church fees. i think thats a lot for just and officiant

I think that is very high just for one person. We are paying $1050 but we are having a dual ceremony. So we are having two people. I would still look around for a better price unless you really like this person.
I don't think people put enough time in looking for the person that is going to marry them. I know we all want the great reception....but you first need that perfect wedding ceremony and the perfect person to do it.
