...to start having temper tantrums? If I take anything away from my daughter she throws a screaming fit, jumps up and down, etc. Like a full blown tember tantrum. She'll be 9 months on Saturday. Is this normal? I thought it started well over one. More like the 2 year mark.
My ped. actually told me that at 9 months is when I should expect some tantrums...especially the whole taking things away from them, etc. He even said that some babies go so far as to bang their heads against the floor, wall, etc.!!! Nick is almost 10 months, and he started at 9 months to really throw a fit when I would take something away from him - I was so shocked!

My daughter is 9 months if you take something away from her watch out you would think somebody is trying to kill her!!!!
my son is 9 months and we have started the same thing. he likes to stiffen his back and throw himself on the floor.
I know what you are going through...My daughter is now almost two before that tantrum city. Now we give her time outs and the doctor also told me when she bangs her head not to pay any mind....
