Is a money order the same thing as a bank check?

It says I need a money order for my marriage license. Many vendors want money orders or cash.

What is the difference?

Do vendors accept certified bank checks?

You would have to ask your vendors if they accept certified bank checks or not.

Honestly, I just use whatever method of payment they accept and prefer. That way, I don't have to worry about them not accepting the payment.
