Is a trip to Kleinfeld's worth it????

If you haven't gone do you plan to? And for the girls who made the trip did you feel like it was worth it? Or did you feel like it was like any other bridal shop?

I've heard mixed reviews...

ehhh i wasnt impressed... IMO they judge you from the minute you walk in the door and it didnt make me feel comfortable... plus they tell you that you are so beautiful and have such a beautiful body yadda yadda yadda... get straight to the point you dont need to butter me up... they just want to make a sale (like most places) and if it looks like ur not sure they dont want to be bothered

i didnt go. my moh/sis wanted me to go so bad.

i feel trying on gowns is an experience itself.
it doesnt matter what store you go to.

plus watching say yes to the dress and seeing some of the bc faces when the budget is 1k-2k turned me off big time.

i didnt want to waste anyones time just for an experience.

I have an appointment to go there but Im considering cancIing it, I think I may have found the ONE @ RK BRIDAL yesterday

I didn't bother going. I don't like the fact that I can't look for my own dresses and they would pull them. Plus, I wasn't planning on paying that much for a dress so I found no point in going.

i was there yesterday with fsil
she thinks she has found the one too.
she just needs to bring her mom back to see her in it

I want to go 'for fun'. I am afriad of falling in love with something that is out of my price range though

I went but wasn't happy with my experience. I felt like the room you try the dress on is really small and tight and you dont get the feel of the dress. Every dress I tried on I had to go out to the bigger room and wait until there was room for me to step up in front of the mirror. I was able to look at all the dresses in the back room but wasnt impressed by the selection. I really thought there was going to be soo many more dresses. I think it also depends on who you get to work with there. Two of my friends got there dresses there and were really happy with their experience in the store.

i'm going there just for the sake of going there! haha. i dont think i'll get my dress there bec the realllyyyy nice ones that i like are most likely in the 10k range.

their having a sample sale on tuesday, thats when i'm going. we'll see if something comes out of it...

I think it is worth the trip. Even if you don't buy there they have a huge selection and it's a great place to get ideas. My mom says thats where we are going for my dress. She is standing firm on this.

I was there bet 3:30/4-5 Nancy was helping me she was soooo gr8....I was hesitant to go bcuz Ive read some awful reviews abt their customer service.

haha. we got there at 430. she tried on dresses from 5-630pm. cant remember the name of the woman that helped her but she was very nice. i thought it was going to be an awful experience after reading some post here. but we had a great time. i think she tried on 15 gowns. we took lots of pics.lol

I took pics also and my Mom was freaking, she was telling me they were going to throw us out bcuz ur not allowed to take pics lol
I couldnt help but take pics I wanted to show my dad pics of the dress since hes paying for it
