Is a Veil necessary?

Sooo.....ive been having nightmares about the dress i picked. Im not going with it and thankfully i didnt put a deposit on it.

Anyway...so this is a picture of the new dress....but i feel like a veil wouldnt look right with it....

What do you think?

You could wear the really short veil that just covers your face, I can't remember what its called, but only if you want to wear a veil....if not, it looks good without it to me!

Its a birdcage veil and would look hot with that dress-- Great idea! A veil is totally not necessary, only if you want to wear one.

I Love that dress and I dont think a veil is necessary for any dress but you could wear a plain one and I think it would go perfect. Either way its going to be beautiful!

my friend wore no veil at all for her wedding. And instead of a headpiece she did just a comb and it was perfectly fine. This is all she wore in her hair. Just do whatever you like and feel most comfortable in

It's totally your preference...at first I didn't want one either, but then the idea kind of grew on me. I agree though, I'm trying to think of a style that would work on your dress and I can't really think of anything. Maybe just something very sheer with no edging or adornment? If you even want to go that route at all, it would like fine without.

I am not huge on the veil so I am jsut wearing it for ceremony and taking it off right after for reception

I don't think a veil is necessary if you don't want to wear one. It's completely up to you.

I agree that a birdcage veil would look incredible! And it's not necessary to wear one so if you don't love the way it looks you don't have to wear it!

Yeah - I would test out a birdcage - I think it would go well with your dress and you have the face to pull it off -

another idea is some of the other veils will look VERY different just on where you place them - like I hated the veil until I found one that was softer and worn in the back so it didn't overwhelm my face or the front of the dress - that made a BIG difference
GREAT dress btw!
