A few couples I know registered at Target, and they got lots of stuff b/c prices are usually lower there than at Fortunoff or Macy's for the exact same products and brands. I'm going with Target for electronics and gadgets, and with Linens N' Things (or BB&B) for bedding and china.

Re: Is anybody registering at Target?
We plan to do the same thing. FH wanted to register at Fortunoff, but I told him that they are way too pricey for things. I am (and always have been) a fan of Target. Why pay full price?
He's a big fan of Bed, Bath and Beyond, so that will probably be our other choice. Do you think having a third place is tacky? Cause I'm a cooking nut, and really want to include Crate and Barrel in this too....decisions decisions...

Re: Is anybody registering at Target?
No because they have a crappy return policy. I am registered at MACYS and JC Penny.

Re: Is anybody registering at Target?
my friend had a bad experience with the registry there - and they gave her a hard time with getting credit and returning items. She was told she had to spend the same ammount of money in the same department as the item returned.
I am doing fortunoffs and BBB

Re: Is anybody registering at Target?
We are because its one of a few stores in the area where my family lives. FH and I both have apartments full of stuff, so we didn't need that much. We are also registering at Macys and possibly somewhere else.

I was going to but I wanted to only register at two places. BBB and Macy's had more of the things that I wanted.

Re: Is anybody registering at Target?
I am registered at Fortunoff, Linens and Things and Target. Target is amazing... love that store and was able to put a ton of stuff on my registery. Everyone at the engagement party was commenting on how nice it was to go to Target and not have to travel across LI to Fortunoff. If you need a lot of stuff, then go to Target, you'll be able to get more gifts since they cost less. (Does that sound greedy? YOu know what I mean...)

Re: Is anybody registering at Target?
As much as I really wanted to register at Target, I ultiamately decided not to. Their return policy is by far the worst. If you have time, do a search here on target registries and read the reviews.

Re: Is anybody registering at Target?
I haven't heard really good things about Target wedding registries. Their return policy is not the greatest from what I hear, and items are CONSTANTLY discontinued.
