Is anybody taking a vow of celibacy(spelling?)before their wedding?

Ok so of course precana told everybody that if they are having sex you should stop now before your wedding. Yeah right if your living together! But it's 2 months before the wedding, and we are going to try it. We'll see....

We *might* stop 1 month before, but who knows. He gets all cranky without it and I'm not about to deal with that for a month before the wedding!

We decided (well I) to hold off for a couple of months. Our decision did not have anything to do with religious reasons. We just wanted to build up a little tension before the wedding. It seems to have worked.

we tried, but we live togeher and it was more difficult than we thought, we didnt too much the whole week before the wedding though because we both had tons of family in from out of town.

We are going to hold out for a month ... but by then we will be living together, so who knows ..lol

Some pre-cana leaders are wacked. Ours didn't say a thing about having pre-marital sex. Yet they were still conservative. I think they realize that times change and that if you love each other and are committed to each other then maybe God actually mind (IMO).

If you feel comfortable with that decision then you should take a vow or promise not to have sex before the wedding. Some couples do so that the first time after marriage is more special to them. Either way is fine, it's entirely up to you.
