is anyone having their ceremony w/o a officient?? i'm thinking about getting married and have a ceremony in city hall.. then have a mock on at the RH...
has anyone done this or thinking about doing this? i just think $500 for half hour for an officient is not affordable at this time... please help. tia!!

you might be able to negotiate that price. Or maybe you can have a friend or family member become ordained. I think you can do it online, according to an episode of Friends!

yeah - you can do it online and then marry anyone. . i have been to two weddings where my friends had another friend marry them. . seems like this is a good alternative to save some money. ..

My brother and my SIL had one of their best friends become ordained and he did the ceremony for them, it was really nice to have someone so close to them do the ceremony, I don't remember how much it cost for him to do this but I remember it being really inexpensive...
