I already have a wedding band with diamonds but am debating on getting a plain simple one to wear daily. Then wear the diamond band for special occasions etc. FH said to do whatever I want - but I'm trying to figure out if its silly to have two.

I might--- I don't think we will be able to afford the custom band I want and we are running out of time.......

My friend who is getting married in sept is doing this. She has her diamond band, and got a plain silver band 'beach band' to wear cleaning, and to the beach, and around when she doesn't want to mess up her regular band. So not silly

I am.. FH and i both will be working on places where nice rings will get ruined so for us its a sure thing. Either way i think its a great idea to get two!

I use to work in a school where I could not wear my e ring ( it was an alternative HS) and so I use to wear a plane silver Tiffany ring that FH bought me when we were first dating. I think it is fine to have too. A lot of people have jobs that they cannot wear big rings too.

I am. I will be getting a diamond band and then a plain white gold one. I'll probably use the plain one when i'm home or running around and when I play softball.

I think I'm going to get a plain white gold wedding band for travel...same for FH. It'll feel weird not wearing my e-ring on the HM, but I'd feel better knowing that it's safe.
