Is anyone a member of NYSC (New York Sports Club) on LI?
If you don't mind me asking- what do you pay per month?
I am a member and my home gym is here in Manhattan. I spend a dortune on my gym membership. I use it all the time so it's worth it but I am pretty sure it costs a ton more to be a member in NYC than it does on Long Island so I am considering quitting and rejoining near my in-laws. Thanks!

I pay $65 in NJ, but it's probably comparable to LI
eta: i have the membership where i can only go to my home gym. i think i can go to others, but there are only certain hours that i can go. when i signed up they were having some kind of special. my initial membership fee was also a lot less because of my health ins. Check to see if you can get a discount because of your health insurance. I have Empire BCBS.

anyone else? I pay almost $90 for a gold membership which means that I can't even go to another gym during peak hours! I think it is so much less out there!

WOW!!! I am a member on NYSC in NYC and have a passport membership( the one where I can use any gym , any time) for around $75 a month.

do you get some sort of corporate discount or something? They just sent us a letter that they are raising our prices again! Insane!

No, I don't have a corporate rate. I have been a member there for around 4 yrs. Maybe that has something to do with it. I also have not received anything yet about a rate increase. Seems weird.

I posted on this about a month ago. They were running a deal, $65 a month, plus the initial costs. I debated, and decided against it. Im going to join some Adult Ed exercise classes instead.

I plan on joining the one in Great Neck if all goes well with the co-op and am expecting $75-$85...I would be very happy if it's less!

I pay about 73 dollars a month and I go to the one in HUntington but I can go to any other NYSC during off-peak hours only.
