i'm thinking of buying single-color, long BM dresses and then buying a different colored sash to go around the stomach area.
has anyone done this before? does it look good? how much does it cost? where can i buy the sashes? how do the sashes attach to the dress (do they require tailoring)?

The sashes will require tailoring to be attached..also the material (iespecially if you purchase from your gown manufacturer) can be quite pricey. Why not look for a dress that has it? Sashes are very common in BM dress styles these days! I would just try to find one you like WITH the sash already there! JMO

yeah, i might go for a 'pre-sashed' dress .... i was trying to find out more info first to see if it's worth it or not

davids sells sashes separate. my aunt sewed my bm's with material i picked out. davids didnt have the color/length i needed. pics in my album
