Is anyone becoming a stepmother?

My FH has two girls, ages 13 and 11. Is anyone else is becoming an instant mom? How are you involving the kids in the wedding?

I am not becoming an instant mom. However, I have seen ceremonies where the bride reads vows to the children promising to love, respect, and take care of them and thier father for the rest of thier lives. The vows also spoke of how much the bride loves the children and is looking forward to developing a wonderful relationship with them and for them to be a happy family. Then the bride kisses the children on the cheeks.

I have also seen ceremonies where the bride gives like a necklace of piece of jewelry to the child as a symbol of their commitment to the child as well.

When my brother remarried, he had his two daughters give him away. At the time they were 9 and 7 and it was adorable.

I will be become a step-mom to my FI's 2 children (1 boy age 11 & 1 girl age 9). We are having them in the wedding party. His daughter will be my junior bridesmaid & his son will be a groomsmen.
