Tradition has it, I'm changing into 2 different outfits after the ceremony! A traditional Vietnamese gown and then a cocktail dress. You guys are lucky. It was hard enough for me to find my dream wedding gown, now I'm on the hunt for 2 more!!!!!

True, it's extra work, but I think you'll appreciate that tradition on the big day. One of my close friends is Christian, but also of Indian decent. She wore her white gown in the church, and for the Big Fat Indian Wedding Reception, she changed into a beautiful red / golden sari......

She looked gorgeous..... it was like she was married twice that day!

That freakin wedding dress cost an arm and leg...I am staying in it until I just can't take it anymore!

I would love too! If I could afford it-but not o nly did it take forever to find the perfect one...but I dont think I want to get out of it!

I am wearing my one and only wedding dress from morning till night. Then after the wedding I told FH that I will be living in the dress.

Yup! I'm wearing one dress for the ceremony and part of the reception. A more form fitted dress only for the beach pictures (I'm going to Sand's Point) and of course, I don't really want to get my main wedding dress dirty before the reception. For the Castle pictures at Sand's Point, I'll switch back to my main dress. Mid to the end of reception, I'm changing into the traditional red chinese dress - qi pao!

I will be wearing my WD throughout most of the day. However, before the guest leaves, I will change into an evening gown.

I would like to, my dress was very expensive as well and a part of me says get your money's worth but I do want to dance and I don't think I will be able to move in that big ball gown.

I hear that!!! It's the only day I'll ever get to wear it so I'm staying in it! What I am thinking of doing is wearing like delicate jewelry and a low veil at the ceremony then changing into a really funky necklace and putting on a shorter, higher veil at the reception to make it fun.
