Is anyone doing a grooms cake?

I am not planning on doind a grooms cke but my FI b-day is just 2 days after our engaement party. I was thinking of getting him a b-day cake in the shape of his truck (he loves the thing...my only competition. LOL). Does anyone know how $$$ this is? Any suggestions for a bakery to try?
