Original post by july5bride

I want to do something at the ceremony for my brother who passed away. I can't so a candle b/c the ceremony is on the beach and the wind could possibly blow it out. Any other suggestions?

Fhs dad passed away two years ago of cancer. We will mention him in the prgrams, and in the Prayer of the Faithful. Have a memory candle that will be at the Church then come to reception with us a sit on our table. We are also making a donation to the American Cancer Society in memory of him and will give organze bags of Hershey kisses with a card attatched saying something like....in lieu of favors we've made a donation to the American Cancer Society in memory of XXXXXXXXXXX
