We are throwing the idea around. We are using Lessing's so we are between Black Forest and Audrey's. Not sure what to ask for though. Do I plan to have them in various colors? With designs? Any ideas???

my caterer is doing cupcakes instead of a cake at no extra cost. they were delicious! i love cupcakes and a lot of people know that i love them, so i think my family might expect it. i will tell you that i know a phenomenal baker who will make them, she works out of her house.

I am! I haven't met with the baker yet but my banquet manager said that the bakery could do it and it wouldn't be extra. I don't know any details yet. Just bring picture of cupcake towers is what they told me.

we are. Since way before he proposed we knew we would have cupcakes instead of a cake.
Essentially, it goes like everything else - do whatever you want! If you want a design on them, maybe you could have your initials, or something from the invitation. A design on top of the cupcakes is a way of making one more thing more about the two of you, and less standard.
We're getting a mix of red velvet, carrot cake, and vanilla and chocolate with Chinese characters on top - my fiance is Chinese.
