Is anyone doing their make-up themselves?

I called Jaqueline Nicole and she is not available for my wedding and I haven't really seen any other person I like - some of the pictures that I've seen I feel like I could do a better job - is anyone doing it themselves?

I am really contemplating this I went for a trial and I have very sensitive eyes to wind, sun etc. and I was tearing so much with someone else putting eye makeup on me and when it was done I honestly felt I could have done the same thing myself minus the torture.

But then again I am not a makeup expert nor do I know how to do those smokey eyes i want so i am thinking of going to a makeup counter and having them show me, maybe buying a few things and do it myself.

I'll let you know how I do.

I'm not a big makeup wearer - recently went thru my stash to find a lot of it dried up! I'm gonna go for a trial & buy the colors I like but I'll probably let my cousin apply it, she wears makeup regularly & always looks beautiful. If she doesn't do it for some reason I'll probably just work it out myself.

I am having mine done. My SIL did hers herself for her wedding and says she regrets it and looks washed out in all the pics. She doesn't usually wear a lot of makeup, though, and didn't wear much that day.

I have been so disappointed by my make-up trials I too am thinking about doing my make-up myself. JN is not available for my date either. Girls don't wait too long! I went this past Saturday, I told the girl I didn't like the lipstick on me and she tells me don't worry. BS! One hour later it didn't even look like I had on make-up. I am soo bummed.
