having a hard time commiting to a color scheme. I'm having an especially hard time picking a BM dress color that I like. I really want to have this picked before I think of flowers.
I'm not a really 'colorful' person. I'm usually more drawn to earthy tones and have been considering a champagne colored dress.
Anyone else?

right now i'm leaning towards purple for the bm's dresses. but as far as flowers and lines and all that, i have no idea. i want something simple and classic looking.
i like the idea of champagne colored bm dresses.

I chose champange dresses for my girls for that reason. I think that champagne looks elegant with a lot of colors, so I can change my mind often. Right now I want champagne dresses with pale pink and hot pink flowers. I'll probably change my mind at the florist tomorrow

I chose silver for my BM and charcoal grey for MOH. I think I'm going for pinks for their flowers. I think that will look nice. My problem is I can't seem to find BM dresses I like and that would look good on all shapes.

My BMs are going to wear black. I want something formal, but useful in the future for them. I love the black and white wedding look. I have no idea what colors to do for flowers though....

I really would love to just put everyone in black that way I can go with any color flowers. But my Mom and sister would throw a fit.

I think summer colors are light blue, light pink, purple or even a pale yellow. Sort of the pastels I would guess.
I think Champage is very classes though, I thinik it would be beautiful for the summer.

Hi, I am going to do periwinkle though I know that is not real popular right now. We are having a May wedding but I am having a small wedding party. I have loved my FH's beautiful blue eyes from day one and my MOH who is my cousin also loves periwinkle and has blue eyes. I'm not having any other BMs so my cous can pick any beautiful dress in per which she loves and will wear it again. Blue flowers will be a little tougher though...

Im doing it backwards... I am going to pick my flower colors first, then the BM dress colors... I want to see what is available and affordable during my time of year as for the flowers, then I will pick dress colors that go with that, for some reason I think that may be a bit easier....

I thought so too but our florist (FH's Cousin) said pick your color scheme and BM dresses..bring a swatch of the color and we will create something from there. This is gonna be a toughie. I might just stick with champagne.

I don't think a summer wedding definitely needs bright colors...i think people who get married in the summer will have tons of colors because there will be a lot of light in your pictures, there will be lots of greenery and flowers in bloom. I think pastel colors are nice, but it all depends on what you want.

I absolutely fell in love with the color Buttercream for my BM dresses, but am having a really hard time finding a designer that makes the exact shade of it I want.....the only one I found so far that made it was by a top designer that wanted 275 for each dress plus alterations....I would never in a million years ask my girls to pay that! I am not giving up though....I need that color!

i am/was having a difficult time, I also wanted a champagne color but now i want to add more color.....so I decided (I think) that I want light green and light pink....BM dresses will be most likely green (but maybe pink if i like it better) and the flowers will be green and pink and probably white...
