I know it's ridiculous that I am obessing over my hair at this point, but I am clueless on how I want to wear it, where I want the veil to sit on my head etc... I have had one hair trial so far. She did it exactly what I wanted it and it looked great - but not on me, if that makes sense...
Anyone else feeling clueless about their hair? If I talked to my friends about it, they would laugh at me - they already think I am psycho and that all of you are members of my cult!!

I hear you. I went for a trial yesterday and I wasn't thrilled with the style. Now I am back to square one. I'm in the same boat.

Im Obsessed! I dont think I will be happy so Im just giving up worrying...I know once the wedding is underway, I will forget about my hair( I hope) I really want to wear my hair down. I think ( maybe?) I have nice hair and it looks good semi-curled..Now Im thinking about wearing it UP..and veilas and tiarsa..oh lord! I have 2 tiarsa, not using either, maybe will use pins or clips but then the veil situation is too much for me...YOU ARE NOT ALONE! LOL!

What my stylist recommended, and I found helpful, was to take the same approach as you would decorating a room. Look through magazines, hair books, and even old pics of yourself to get a sense of things you like and want to experiment with. Also take not if you want a certain type of headpiece or veil and then put these together -- you will start coming up with an assortment of ideas to bring to you hair trials and things will start to take shape.

yes! i have no idea what to do with my hair. i love the look of an updo, but i don't like the way it has turned out when i've tried it. good luck figuring out what to do with your hair!

I was worrying about how to wear my hair too until I read a post like this last month.... One thing I never thought about is if I choose to wear my hair down and I dance I will be sweaty and my hair will be messy (mine has a tendency to frzz) I will be playing with it all night etc. so I think I have finally chosen to put it up Maybe this will help some with their decision

Wow you started early!!!! I guess I'm not agonizing over it because I haven't even thought about it yet. I know what you mean though about the style not looking like you. That happens to me with make up. I hardly wear any and the few times I've had my make up done, I feel like a made up doll. I think it looks so good on everyone else.

I have over 100 hair pictures saved in my work and home computer.
i go back and forth every day about wearing it up or down.
It's 'ridiculous' , I know, but obsessing is part of the fun, at least for me.
Oh, and can I just say - I want CAtherine Zeta Jones' stylist - i LOVE her hair.

i am too! i dont know hwat to do. i have two problems...
1) i dyed it brown and so im scared i wont be able to get it to a nice blonde (i dont want it orangy)
2) i want extensions, but i dont know if i can afford them

Yes it was all my hair. I have very long hair and its kinda thick. I have hair almost identical to Jessica Simpson's so I brought a picture of her wedding hair and she duplicated it.
I think I heard that she does hair extensions though too? Not sure but I thought I heard that.,

That's all yours?!?!? WOW! Its GORGEOUS!!!! I wanted a style like that, but my hair is too thin, so Tarale recommended I get some Yaky human hair to fill it out.

She does, she'll send you to buy them at a cheap place she told me it costs like 20 dollars for a package, and then she sews them on to clips before your wedding day and adds them to your hair, shes going to do it for me!!! woo hoo

Oh Yessiree. Like every other project it seems, I can't make up my mind. I have very thin hair, that when I pull it all back, I usually look bald in pictures. So, I'm thinking of half up, half down, but now, as I search for pictures of that, I can't find any (or at least none that I think will 'work' for me since I also have stick straight hair that rarely holds any sort of curl). I haven't bought a veil or any kind of headpiece yet because I have ZERO idea what I'm going to do. I LOVE updo's for their practicality (i'm a dancing feind), but do I really want to look bald? I'm seriously considering coloring my hair (for the 1st time in my life) just so that if I want an updo, it'll look alright. I guess I have to start making these decisions soon! Good Luck!

I'm pretty clueless about mine, too. Esp. because my hair is short (to the middle of my neck, which is actually VERY long for me!), and you can never find pictures of fancy hairdos for shorter hair. PLus, I don't know how long my hair will be by the wedding, so that kind of complicates things. I'm going to feel like an idiot when I start going for trials and have to tell the person I have no idea what I want!

I can't even think about it yet. I have a short bob now and am trying to grow it out, so I'll have to wait months before I have any idea. I figured it must be bad when the photographer asked me at our e-pic shoot how I planned on wearing it for the wedding

Ok - so I booked my trial with April for 11/12. I have a Sweet Sixteen that night, so I figured I 'd put the trial $$ to use!! Hopefully it will look ok and I won't have to go home and wash my hair!!
