These are the first holidays as being ENGAGED!!!! im so excited and kinda upset all at the same time.. i love new years eve and i love going out with FH.. but hes working in times square this year and prob every year from now on.. STUPID NYPD... dont they know these people have FAMILIES!!!!! heheheh

I'm with you a 100%, my FH is in the NYPD also and I have only spent ONE NYE with him... UGhh.... i'm hoping he can swing getting off again this year!
P.S. I went there a couple years ago with some friends to see him and it was AWESOME! VIP treatment all the way...no crowd and i was able to blow him a kiss at midnight!

My FH is working New Year's too so I know how you feel!! But we will be spending Christmas together....in Oklahoma! My first holiday with his family!
But I am sooooooo excited because next Friday he is flying up for our 'every 3-4 week' visit!!!! Yay!!!

Yeah - it should be great... But I can't wait until the first christmas that we are MARRIED!
It's funny though. We've been collecting christmas ornaments since we've been together....so I guess outr'our 1 Christmas together' ornament isn't going to really make sense once we do get married. Although I guess I could just buy another one!!

yeah, it's going to be exciting, but being that FH is from upstate, he goes up there for xmas... we don't share xmas yet.... but thanksgiving will be fun as a newly engaged couple!

no, we don't split the holidays yet. xmas is a big one, so we'll figure that out once we're married. it's annoying though, because we each practically have to wear signs that say 'he/she is at home with his/her family' because we both constantly get asked... where's kim... where's aaron.

FH is from California, so every year we go there for a week, from Christmas Eve till just before New Year's. This will be the first time we're seeing him mom and family since we've gotten engaged - I can't wait! A whole slew of people to show off my ring to!

we were so excited last year...we got an ornament that said first xmas engaged with a boy bea proposing to a girl bear ...its very hard to find an engagment ornament ...it was nice we decorated the house together and put the tree up together and had xmas songs on!...so cheesy but soo cute
